This is Paradise Island's only waterside restaurant, so you know the setting alone will make a meal here special. Luckily, the food is just as awesome as the ocean view. Dishes tend to be Continental, but many have a Bahamian twist. Traditional main courses such as herb roasted Cornish hen, Veal Française and Steak Diane prepared tableside are joined on the menu by grouper stuffed with crab, Caribbean snapper, and blackened mahi mahi on spinach with guava salsa. Standout desserts include key lime pie, crème brûlée, and the local favorite, guava duff. The tavern's breakfast and lunch menus feature a good variety of local and international options ­ there truly is something for everyone.
